About the Client

After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a specialization in Studio Art, Crissy built her foundation in jewelry design and silversmithing through formal training before making St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands her home. Her work blends the craftsmanship of the American Southwest with the vibrant colours, textures, and spirit of the Caribbean, resulting in jewelry that is both artistic and deeply connected to place.

Following Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017, returning to the studio became an important part of rebuilding life on the island. Today, every piece is carefully forged by hand using precious metals and ethically sourced stones, creating small-batch collections that celebrate craftsmanship, resilience, and the beauty of island living.

Our strategy centered on educating customers about the artistry behind each design. The website highlights Crissy's formal training, her handcrafted silversmithing process, the origin of each stone, and the inspiration drawn from the Caribbean landscape. Rather than competing with mass-produced jewelry, the website positions every piece as collectible wearable art made by a single artist. This reflects Crissy's goal of attracting buyers who value originality, craftsmanship, and the time required to create handmade jewelry.

The Kiki Creative Jewelry brand was developed to capture more than a jewelry collection, it tells the story of an artist, an island, and a way of life.

Inspired by the colours of the Caribbean Sea, tropical foliage, white sand beaches, and handcrafted silverwork, we developed a visual identity that feels refined yet organic. Every design decision, from the calming colour palette and typography to the photography direction and website experience, was intentionally chosen to reflect the craftsmanship behind each piece and the relaxed beauty of island living.

The result is a brand that feels as personal and handcrafted as the jewelry itself.

Beyond the Website

We worked closely with Crissy to position Kiki Creative Jewelry as a premium artisanal brand, helping define the customer journey, organize collections, develop the visual direction, and create a shopping experience that educates buyers about the value of handcrafted jewelry.

The website also supports wholesale inquiries, showcases stockists across the Virgin Islands, highlights archived collections, and integrates Instagram to reinforce the relationship between the artist, her process, and her community.
