This project was about bringing an accomplished creative career under one cohesive digital home.

As B.E. Boykin's work continued to grow, so did the need for a website that could support the many facets of her practice. We migrated her existing website from Wordpress to Shopify and reimagined the experience from the ground up, creating a platform that seamlessly brings together her work as a composer, conductor, educator, and publisher.

Rather than functioning as a simple catalogue of compositions, the website invites visitors into B.E.'s story while making it easy for conductors, educators, performers, and students to discover, purchase, and perform her music. We also developed a scalable e-commerce strategy that supports both printed sheet music and future digital downloads, creating a foundation that can evolve alongside her growing catalogue and expanding international audience.

Every decision, from the navigation to the customer journey, was designed to balance artistic storytelling with practical functionality, giving visitors an experience that feels as thoughtful and intentional as the music itself.

Branding

Her visual identity was designed to reflect the emotional depth of her music while maintaining the sophistication expected of an internationally recognized composer. Clean typography, elegant layouts, and thoughtful spacing create a timeless aesthetic that allows her compositions and story to take center stage.

Just as her music bridges tradition with contemporary voices, the brand balances professionalism with warmth, creating a welcoming experience for performers, conductors, educators, and audiences alike.
